How to get to the Paul Langevin Centre in Aussois
- By Plain:
- Lyon LYS Airport: timetable. A shuttle will be organized departing from the airport on Monday 17th at ~14h, absolutely not later than 15h. The return shuttle will depart from Aussois on Saturday 22nd just after lunch to be at Lyon airport at 16h.
- Turin TRN Airport: timetable. There you can take a bus, 20 minutes to the Torino Porta Susa railway station, and there you take one of the trains (check below) to Modane.
- Chambery CMF Airport: timetable. There are very few flights, but it is only at 1h by train from Modane.
- Geneve GVA Airport: timetable. The train connection is not ideal.
- Paris or Milan CDG or MXP Airport: evaluate these options carefully.
- By Train: Modane TGV railway station, at 8 Km from Aussois. It is desserved by fast Artesia trains both from France and from Italy. From there take a taxi. A pickup bus at the railway station will be organized on Monday 17h at 14h and on Saturday 22nd at 14h.
- From France SNCF: Trains departing from Paris (4h - 5h) (check below), from Lyon (2h30 - 3h) and from Chambery (~1h).
- From Italy FS: Trains departing from Milan (3h - 4h) and from Turin (~1h30)
- From Switzerland SBB: Trains departing from Geneve (3h - 4h30)
- By Car: A43 motorway exit of "Modane, Haute Maurienne, Vanoise" at 10Km from Aussois.
- From Lyon and Chambery A43 motorway, direction Frejus Tunnel, Turin.
- From Turin A32 motorway, direction Bardonecchia, Frejus tunnel.

From United States, flights arrive early in the morning in Paris, London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt or Milan, and there you change for a last hop to Lyon, in time for the shuttle.
From Japan or other eastern Asia locations, it is a little bit difficult, but with a change in one of the main European airports, in the evening you should be in Lyon or may be better in Turin to catch a train to Aussois.
